2. Hosting & Server logs 

Our website is hosted on servers of a hosting provider. When you access our website, your browser automatically transmits certain technical data, which is stored in so-called server log files. This data includes:

  • accessed pages / files

  • amount of data transferred

  • browser type and version

  • operating system

  • referrer URL

Our website uses web fonts to display fonts consistently. Depending on the configuration of our theme (Divi), these fonts may be loaded either:

  • from our own server (local hosting), or

  • from the servers of external providers such as Google (Google Fonts).

If web fonts are loaded from Google servers, your browser connects to servers of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This allows Google to receive your IP address and information about which page you visited.

The use of web fonts is based on our legitimate interest in a uniform and appealing presentation of our website (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). Where required, we obtain your consent via the cookie / consent tool (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR).

5. Newsletter / Email updates (MailerLite)

If you subscribe to our newsletter / email updates, we process your email address (and, if provided, your name) to send you information about DYOX – e.g. new editions, prototypes, kits or configurators.

Your data is stored on MailerLite’s servers. MailerLite processes this data on our behalf in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Subscription takes place via double opt-in: you will receive an email with a confirmation link. Only after confirming this link will your subscription become active.

You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in the emails or by contacting us. The legal basis for sending the newsletter and measuring its performance is your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR).

6. Online shop (WooCommerce)

When you place an order in our (future) online shop, we process your data to handle the order and fulfil the contract. This includes in particular:

  • name

  • billing and shipping address

  • email address

  • ordered products, prices, payment information

We use the WordPress plugin WooCommerce to operate our shop. Depending on your selection, payment may be processed by external payment providers (e.g. PayPal, Stripe). In that case, the privacy policies of the respective providers also apply.

The legal basis for processing your data in the context of orders is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract).

7. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process your data (email address, content of the message and any further information you provide) in order to handle your enquiry.

The data is used exclusively for processing the conversation and will be deleted when it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (our legitimate interest in handling enquiries) or Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR if the contact relates to a contract.
